“Hands down the best fishing experience I’ve ever had.

We took off at approximately 6 a.m and made our way out to the open waters off the coast of Kapa’a. Including myself and my brother, there was 1 more passenger on our charter and of course Captain Terry and one of his sons.

We trolled for approximately 20 minutes once off shore and our first bite happened. My brother reeled in a huge 25-30 pound yellow fin tuna and it was a beast! From there, it felt like taking candy from a baby. Between the 3 of us we reeled in a whopping 15 beautiful fish including the yellowfin tuna, amberjack and crevalle jack.

The secret sauce was Captain Terry and his son. These guys are the real pros and definitely helped us be a success. A portion of the fish is divided and filleted once we returned to shore allowing for 1-2 meals while on island and let me tell you, it’s some damn good eatin’.

I highly recommend this charter whether you are a beginner or avid fisherman, you will have a blast.

I will 100% do this again on my next trip to Kauai.

He caught a beautiful Ono (Wahoo) as well as Aku this trip.
